a) Device Information

• Device ID (unique identifier generated locally on your device)
• Device type and OS version
• App version number

b) Camera & Image Data

• Photos you voluntarily upload for text recognition (OCR)
• Text extracted from images using ML Kit technology
• Images are NOT stored on our servers - only extracted text is processed

c) Usage Data

• Conversation text you submit for analysis
• Generated replies and your interactions with them
• Subscription status and tier level
• Error reports and app crash information (via Sentry)

2. How We Use Your Information

• To provide AI-powered reply generation using Claude 3 Haiku via OpenRouter
• To manage your subscription and free tier usage limits
• To improve app performance and fix bugs
• To track basic analytics (feature usage, crash reports)
• To comply with legal requirements

3. Data Storage & Security

• User data is stored on our PostgreSQL database (Supabase)
• Data is encrypted in transit using HTTPS
• Device IDs are stored locally on your device and synced with our server
• We do NOT store your images - only extracted text
• Account data is tied to Device ID, not personal information

4. Third-Party Services

We use the following third-party services:

• OpenRouter API: Processes your conversation text to generate AI replies
• Sentry: Collects error and crash reports to improve app stability
• ML Kit (Google): Performs on-device text recognition from images
• Supabase: Hosts our database and user data

5. Permission Usage

• CAMERA: Only used when you voluntarily select "Pick Image" to upload screenshots for OCR
• STORAGE: Only used to access images you select from your device
• RECORD_AUDIO: Reserved for future features (currently not used)

6. Data Retention

• Conversation history is stored indefinitely until you delete it
• Crash reports are retained for 90 days for debugging purposes
• Device IDs are stored for account continuity
• You can request data deletion at any time

7. User Rights

• Access: View your conversation history within the app
• Delete: Clear your conversation history at any time
• Opt-out: Disable error reporting in app settings

8. Children's Privacy

Ghost Reply is not intended for users under 13 years old. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If we learn that we have collected personal information from a child under 13, we will delete such information promptly.

9. Changes to This Privacy Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will notify you of any changes by updating the "Last Updated" date above. Your continued use of the App constitutes your acceptance of the updated Privacy Policy.
